It all started with homemade recipes for burgers and onion rings, made fresh to order, when Danny Maleganeas opened the first Shamrock Burgers in 1970. In addition to be being delicious, it so happened that Danny’s cooking was fast, and the eatery began to spread to new locations. Now, the family-owned business has prospered for decades, and even earned the title of Best Toronto Burger 2015 by Hellmann’s Mayonnaise.
Despite being akin to a fast-food restaurant, the menu shows a little more variety than one might expect from a burger joint.
