For eight seasons, Full House welcomed viewers into the home of the (very) extended Tanner family for laughs and life lessons culled from a heartwarming premise: a single dad raising his three daughters alongside his hard-rocking brother-in-law and comedian best friend. At the center was the loveably rigid Danny Tanner, whose Dad speeches reinstated order whenever anything went awry.

Full House! The Musical Parody! is not that show.

Instead, National Lampoon turns the series’ protagonist on his head as he becomes unable to solve problems and soon morphs into Bob Saget, whose crass sense of humor in real life was a far cry from Danny’s wholesomeness. Bob and Tobly McSmith (Bayside! The Musical!, Showgirls! The Musical!) are the duo behind this subversive take on everyone’s favorite TGIF sitcom, having used their musical chops to pen original numbers including “Have Mercy on My Heart/Don’t Touch the Hair” crooned by Uncle Jesse and “This House is Too Full,” courtesy of Comet, the family dog.
