What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Ballet is the technical foundation of many dance forms and sports; it brings out the best in students and helps them develop posture, grace, and flexibility. Our program is developed by teachers with decades of professional ballet experience and M.Ed. degrees in ballet.
What’s one tip for first-time students that will make them feel like veterans?
Everyone here was a first-time student once. When students open themselves to learning and work as hard as they can, success is all but assured.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
When we first opened Victoria Ballet Academy, our dream was to bring ballet to our community and make this wonderful art form a permanent part of everyone’s lives.
What do you love most about your job?
Every time our students perform on stage at the end of the year and bring the joy of classical art to the viewers we feel that ballet is helping to inspire people, and make their lives more beautiful, whether through learning or watching.
