More recently, Hilary Swank and Julia Roberts stopped by for a cup of hot tea. High Tea has been an afternoon institution at the elegant Windsor Arms Hotel since 1927. Three tearooms—one in their French-style lobby, the other a majestic purple space with an original working fireplace, and the third with a tribute to the Russian Czar era—accommodate up to 60 people during a single service. Guests choose from a selection of more than 30 loose-leaf teas as well as nibble on fresh sandwiches and scones with preserves.
