Academic Safety Driving School, a Ministry of Transportation–approved course provider, builds its students’ defensive-driving repertoires through classroom and in-car instruction. Through this fusion of theory and practice, students learn to calibrate their driving to weather conditions, cope with rush hour, and avoid collisions without resorting to driving exclusively on sidewalks. To ensure safety as students learn the basics, instructors teach in autos with dual brake systems. Interpreters are also on hand to clarify directions by translating them into any language. After honing their road-safety skills, students garner car-insurance discounts with their program diplomas.
