Toronto Adventures leads jolly journeyers through the forests and marshes of the scenic Humber River for a two-hour guided kayak or canoe adventure. Prior to the tour, adventurers are trained in a simple evening kayaking or canoeing lesson to get all paddlers up to speed on the ins and outs of their aquatic arrowheads. Once strapped in, participants are led through scenic waterways and past majestic wildlife and politicians rarely observed in the wild. This introductory course is suitable for beginners of all ages as well as experienced paddlers seeking scenic jaunts, and presents an easy way to learn kayaking and canoeing basics without leaving the city. Toronto Adventures outfits all participants, be they doggy-paddle black belts or aquaphobic beavers, with the necessary excursion and safety equipment such as kayaks, canoes, life jackets, safety bags, and paddles.
