The good oenophiles at Bloor West specialize in creating fine fermented blends from a global variety of varietals, and their stock reflects the sophisticated tastes of experienced winemakers. As you embark on your personalized grape-juice adventure, the winery’s experts will be there to help you choose a varietal, based on your tastes, to blend from the eight choices available (see the sidebar for more details). Excepting bottles, the winery supplies all the materials you need, including ingredients, corks, shrink wraps, labels, shark tanks, and on-site equipment, and during your initial visit, you’ll craft your concoction before leaving it to be made for about four weeks. When you return, you’ll bottle, label, cork, and carry out the gourmet grape blood. Your first visit will take ten minutes, and your second visit will take only about a half hour, which makes it a quick and fun stop for overbooked and busy folk or fast-paced fugitives with an on-the-go lifestyle. High-falutin’ fermenters can choose to use this Groupon toward a higher quality of grape for an additional fee and slightly longer winemaking period.
