Our classes are structured and detail oriented. We pride ourselves on providing the personal attention our students need, to improve and advance. We are known for having a unique approach to instruction in the Toro to Area that we bring with us from our home in montreal. High quality, efficiency, simplicity and details are the foundation of our curriculum, technical instruction and overall structure. We cater to recreational clientele, hobbyists and competition minded individuals. We are proud to anouce the addition of bootcamps to our roster of high quality programming for adults and youth._
What was the inspiration to start or run this business? _ Both instructors ( David Thompson and Ayisha Issa) have experienced some tranfersamtion in their lives though the discovery and practice of this sport. As a result we decided to find out how we could share this opportunity and experiance with others who want or need it. _
What do you love most about your job? _ David: loves to support his students in the process of learning a new technique. Teaching them something new that they may struggle with at first- but then through practice become quite good at, is very satisfying for him. Ayisha: loves to watch teens develop self confidence, focus and leadership skills. Shy kids open up and the more rambunctious variety learn to harnes their energy. They also make her laugh A LOT. When we moved to Toronto from our home in montreal we realized there was a demand for our approach to Jiu Jitsu. _
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer? _We often get feedback from parents who notice positive changes in their kids. But also from adults who are excited about how quickly they are learning something they once found intimidating.
