The three-hour seminar kicks off with an overview of the wine making process from grapevine to pride of Dionysus, including the differences between white, red, rosé, and sparkling wines’ grape varietals. Put complacent sniffers to work as you learn to identify more than a dozen distinct wine aromas invisible to the common nose’s eye, and train tongues to expand their tasting horizons. Participants will also receive instruction on how to perform a proper pour, sampling and drinking technique, and how to pair wines and food harmoniously.
The Divine Wine course equips graduates with the knowledge to serve and discuss wine confidently at dinner parties, wine bars, or around the office winecooler without the help of liquid courage.
