Adventures are usually scheduled (weather permitting) Saturdays and Sundays during December, January, and February at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.

Toronto Adventures leads jolly journeyers into the picturesque snow globe of High Park for a two-hour guided snowshoeing adventure. The tour begins with a simple 30-minute snowshoeing lesson to get all hikers up to speed on the ins and outs of the fabled foot rackets. Once laced up, participants are led through scenic trails that wind their way through forests and fields, past wildlife and politicians rarely observed in the city. This intro course is suitable for beginners of all ages and shoe sizes, and presents an easy way to learn snowshoeing basics without leaving the city. Toronto Adventures suggests that all participants, like chilly onions, dress in warm, waterproof layers and flat-bottomed boots.
